Open corner extension with Schuco bifolding doors

This Palmers Green semi-detached suburban house has undergone an impressive renovation to convert the space into a perfect home for the young family. The entire ground floor was remodelled and extended to create an open plan kitchen and dining area suitable for regular entertaining and large family gatherings with more daylight and improved links to the garden.
Project incorporated our aluminium bi-folding doors from Schuco that opened an entire corner of the property in order to create seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Bifolding doors slide smoothly to both sides leaving an entire corner opened widely, with no need to install fixed corner pole in the middle.
Large swathes of bespoke structural, frameless glazing was used to install a cantilevered glass roof structure – a stunning house feature, inviting even more daylight into the newly extended dining area.
This rear extension with a glass roof merging into the large fixed glass panel through a disappearing corner brings the outside in and the inside out, so that the garden becomes an extra room in summer.

A side extension with a ribbon of glazing running from the rear wall and over the roof allowed daylight into the centre of the space.
